KPMG is currently seeking a Manager to join our Audit practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor compliance with the documented quality controls and drive improvements
  • Participate in the evaluation of audit practice materials and new analytics tools
  • Perform project management activities to improve the NPD's effectiveness, efficiency and documentation
  • Liaise with the Department of Professional Practice (DPP) and Advisory Valuations Specialists (AVS) to effectively and efficiently execute NPD related projects
  • Develop informal and formal trainings for the NPD team on various related matters
  • Lead informal and formal trainings for the NPD Team on various related matters

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of recent financial statement audit related experience within a public accounting firm with demonstrated supervisory experience
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and licensed CPA in their home office state
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills as well as writing, presentation and facilitation skills
  • Ability to teach and lead both formal and informal trainings audit-related matters such as audit documentation, risk assessment, compliance with controls and information technology in the audit
  • Applied working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), U.S. Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) and Public Company Oversight Board (PCAOB) Auditing Standards
  • Experience working on Sarbanes-Oxley compliance financial statement audits preferred and willingness and ability to travel
