KPMG is currently seeking a Manager to join our Office Services organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts performance management process for direct reports by completing goal setting, interim and year-end review, performance calibration and salary management; ensures team members are developing their skills through the leading, coaching, training, effective delegation of tasks and guidance in executing work team goals and objectives
  • Identifies staffing resource requirements, develops business cases for hiring, interviewing, selecting, onboarding and training of new team members
  • Proactively engages with colleagues and establishes professional presence through internal affinity groups and/or external professional organizations both within and outside of ION
  • Anticipates customer needs, produces deliverables and meets timelines, drives innovative development of new programs, policies and procedures; leads in the development and implementation of local office initiative such as space planning, living green, crisis management
  • Manages the status, quality readiness of work products/projects and informs appropriate decision makers; serves as a project team leader or member on local, area and national initiatives
  • Establishes and manages the financial budgets and applies cost control measure to ensure favorable results; may oversee and lead Crisis Management readiness activities for one or more offices and ensures compliance with firm requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of recent experience in a professional hospitality environment, including proven people leadership, operational and financial management experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Solid customer service skills and ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to interact with various levels of staff and work in a team environment with emphasis in conference services or hospitality industry related activity
  • Ability to travel as needed <10%
